Offering embodied, connected and relational care is what being trauma-informed is all about.
How you ARE as you come into your work and support our clients is the thing that makes the real difference.
Coaching at its essence is about human connection and supporting your clients through their challenges so that they can achieve their goals and thrive.
Learning how to support others from an embodied, regulated and resourced place is non-negotiable if you want to have the leading edge and offer your clients exceptional experiences of being in our care whilst feeling deliciously at home inside yourself in the process!
It is how we avoid burnout, allow our work to energise us and build a sustainable, body-based business that honours our own needs and the needs of those we support.
This is the difference between being an average coach vs being the kind of coach people rave about.
It’s how we get to build a thriving coaching practice where referrals are always coming in and people are lining up to work with us.
To do this effectively we need to get educated and skilled on how we can become focal points for safety, regulation and relationality in our work and embody what it really means to lead from a trauma-informed place.
My intention for this training is to create a space for you to learn about trauma-informed coaching, expand your knowledge, and become a better coach for your clients and a better human to yourself (because this work changes us, too!).
You want to elevate your coaching and be on the leading edge in 2023.
And I want to show you how to do this…
By taking this training, you will gain the skills and confidence to build a more trauma-informed coaching practice to support your clients in a way that is truly transformative.
Join me for this FREE 1.5 hour training and expand your embodied, resourced and relational business and how you show up for your clients.
I believe that being trauma-informed is the next evolution of our service and it is an essential part of creating a better world.
Trauma is a pervasive and universal experience that impacts us all in different ways, and a trauma-informed approach to coaching is a powerful way to support our clients that works with their bodies and nervous systems and honours who they are as individuals.

In this training, I will provide you with the knowledge, skills, and tools you need to go from being an average coach to becoming an exceptional one.
You will learn how to use your body as your biggest tool for creating change and building a business that not only does good, but feels good to; to yourself and everyone your business touches.
I created this training because I want to teach others that to truly embody what it means to be trauma-informed is a high art, not a checklist.
I am sick of the way trauma-informed care is often taught in such linear, ‘good-bad’ ‘right-wrong’ ‘do THIS, don’t DO THAT’ kind of ways.
It can feel like it’s all about sticking to a rigid set of rules.
This is so utterly NOT where it’s at.
It is about being able to expand in our embodiment and skillset so that we can allow people to feel safe enough to go deep with us and build trust and collaboration.
It’s also very much about US; about feeling resourced and regulated enough to relax into our work more and to bring our whole self to the fore.
At the end of this training, you will have brand new, liberating understanding of what it REALLY means to operate your business and hold space from a trauma-informed, highly relational lens.
You’ll leave feeling like your business just took a big belly breath…and softened.

Client Testimonials
Anchored has been one of the most profoundly transformational experiences I have undertaken.
I have been trained as a trauma-informed social worker for 2 decades and have a good understanding of how to relate to women who have experienced complex PTSD.
This training has taken my understanding to another level. It has altered the way I run my in-person retreats. I have reduced so much of the unnecessary noise and focused on ensuring that everyone who attends has so much context and choice from the very beginning of the process, through to the ending and aftercare.
The confidence I now feel in our retreat is so high because I know that we have done as much as we can to provide those coming with everything they need to make fully informed decisions about what they do or do not take part in.
This is such a hugely important shift for the women I work with. I wish you could see this is practice Claire.
It is beyond magical to witness their understanding of what being in a trauma-informed environment looks and feels like.
So thank you Claire, this training has enabled me to take this work to the next level."
- Karen Johnstone, Coach + Social Worker -
I made the decision that this work was so important that I needed to make this investment in my business and also myself.
Wow I am 100% over the moon that I did it. I have learnt and continue to learn so much that I truly believe every coach and every professional should know when working with humans.
This has not only been so valuable for my business but also valuable for myself and my own journey to gaining awareness and understanding who I am and how I can best show up and serve my clients.
I am now able to support my clients in ways that I would have never considered before and that is all thanks to this amazing training.
The way Claire delivers the information is amazing and I am truly grateful that some how I came across her reel and stumbled across this programme.
Thank you so much Claire. I cannot wait to continue learning from you. "
- Jo Sayers - Mindset & Confidence Coach -
Anchored went above and beyond my expectations. Claire not only brought a high level of integrity and expertise to the program through content, but also a skilful sensitivity and attunement to our group. I felt truly enriched academically and also deeply nourished on a nervous system level.
I am applying the concepts and tools in my coaching & healing practice, and am so pleased with the impact! I grew in confidence and competence, and more importantly trust in myself and my clients.
I highly recommend Claire and Anchored to any practitioner looking to evolve in their understanding of the nervous system, trauma and how to better support their clients."

I am here for your sovereignty and your embodiment
I am not here for a version of trauma-informedness that feels like self-censorship, people-pleasing or over delivering.
You get to bring ALL of YOU to the table - your quirk, your fun, your edge, your boldness.
You do not have to become a caricature of meekness or be bland and rigidly ‘professional’ in order to be trauma-informed.
It REALLY matters to me that you know this.
Because you showing up in all your unique, deeply resourced and connected self is THE only place you can truly offer trauma-informed care from, anyway.
What a trauma-informed approach IS vs what it ISN’T
What a trauma-informed approach IS:
- A way of understanding and responding to the effects of trauma on individuals
- A framework that emphasises safety, empowerment, and trustworthiness in the therapeutic relationship.
- A holistic approach that takes into account the whole person, their experiences, and their environment.
- A practice that encourages collaboration and partnership between clients and service providers.
- A process that involves ongoing learning, self-reflection, and growth.
- A way of promoting resilience, healing, and growth
What a trauma-informed approach ISN'T:
- A one-size-fits-all approach
- A focus on diagnosis and pathology
- A simple technique or set of interventions that work for everyone
- A substitute for judgment, training, and expertise
- A way of labeling individuals as "trauma victims" or defining them solely by their traumatic experiences
- A guarantee of positive outcomes or complete healing.
- A one-time training or workshop that can be mastered in a short period of time.

Here are 6 ways that taking a trauma-informed approach supports us:
- It helps us see beyond behavior. When we encounter someone who is behaving in a way that is challenging or difficult to understand, it can be easy to jump to conclusions or make assumptions. However, when we approach that person from a trauma-informed perspective, we begin to recognize that behavior as a potential sign of past trauma or ongoing stress. This allows us to move beyond judgment and toward empathy and understanding.
- It helps us cultivate compassion. When we learn about trauma and its impact on the brain and body, we begin to recognize that our own reactions and responses are not necessarily a reflection of our character or worth. We may come to understand that we are simply responding to the stressors in our environment, just like anyone else. This can help us be more compassionate toward ourselves and others.
- It helps us build resilience. When we understand the impact of trauma and how it affects the brain and body, we can begin to develop strategies for managing stress and building resilience. We can learn to recognize our triggers, develop healthy coping mechanisms, and cultivate a sense of safety and security in our lives. These skills can help us navigate the challenges and uncertainties of life/business with greater ease and confidence.
- It helps us understand others: We live in a world full of diverse people, each with their own set of experiences and struggles. Becoming trauma informed can help you better understand and relate to those around you, whether it's coworkers, friends, or loved ones. It can help you become a more compassionate and empathetic person.
- It helps us create safer spaces: Whether you're a coach, healer or mentor, becoming trauma informed can help you create safer spaces for others. By understanding the art and science of attunement and relationality, by learning how to radiate greater safety and recognising the signs of trauma and understanding how to respond, you can hold transformational space and make a real difference in someone's life.
- It helps us understand ourselves: Life can be tough, and we all have our own struggles to deal with. Becoming trauma informed can help you better understand why you react the way you do to certain situations, to hold yourself more accountable and to understand and relate to your own nervous system responses in deeper, more connected ways. It can give you insight into your own behavior and help you transform from old patterns.
If you are a coach, a practitioner or professional that works with and holds space for people in any capacity, this is for you.
Being trauma-informed is about transforming the way we see the world and ourselves.
