RECLAIMING INNER SAFETY

Your guide to cultivating and attending to the felt sense of safety

as an essential part of your healing journey

Feeling safe inside ourselves is the medicine.

When we live in  survival we become overly oriented to the perception of threat and danger.

On a fundamental level, our existence becomes more about picking up on danger and potential threat than it does about noticing and experiencing a sense of safety, inner security and pleasure.

Our experience narrows itself around the perception of threat so that we become less able to notice and receive the safety and resources that are available to us.

This means that the safety and resource available doesn’t land as safety and resource within us. Simply telling ourselves that we’re ‘safe’ won’t transform this pattern because inner safety is not a just a thought; it’s an experience; it lives in the body, in the nervous system.

This means that we have to show ourselves that we are safe.

Feeling safe inside ourselves allows us to:

✧ Move out of the survival patterns of protection and constriction that so many of us live within ✧

✧ To energetically and physically begin to soften, expand and receive ✧

✧ Experience greater flow, presence and connection ✧

✧ Respond to life rather than automatically reacting based on the imprinting of our past ✧

Inner safety is the fertile ground from which we grow out of and expand.

How do we do this?

Through new and repeated body-based experiences that intentionally help us move towards more inner connection and safety.

This is precisely what these practices are designed to support you to do.

Cultivating inner safety is the medicine that so much of our world is needing right now.

The more we embody greater safety within, the more we can respond to life, be courageous and radiate safety out into our world.

Reclaiming inner safety is our birthright.

It starts with us.
